For trips that have an emphasis on mountain trekking and wildlife safari, you need to remember that even the easiest trekking or walking safari involves some exertion, so you should be reasonably fit and sure that you will enjoy the activity.

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN TANZANIA.
Arrive anytime at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), Tanzania. You will meet us at the airport and pick up with private transfer to Arusha Safari Lodge. We will gather in the evening for a safari briefing and an equipment check. We will also confirm you have the appropriate mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance.

DAY 2: WALKING SAFARI TO LONGIDO VILLAGE.
Visit the cultural tourism program in Longido and return Arusha for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: GAME DRIVE TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
Today we drive to Tarangire National Park, for excellent game viewing. Tarangire is a small park that offers some excellent sights. Generally, in the dry seasons, Tarangire comes alive as the wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. We spend the night in our lodge beautifully set inside the park with stunning views and a unique atmosphere. In the late afternoon, we make a short journey from the park to our special lodge.

DAY 4: VILLAGE WALKING TRIP TO KARATU.
Transfer to Karatu, to visit the Sandeman Iraqw cultural center. Overnight stay at Eileen’s Trees Inn Lodge.

DAY 5: SAFARI TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
Transfer to the famous Serengeti National Park. Half-day game drive and possible sundowner game drive and overnight at central Serengeti.

DAY 6: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
Morning game drive in Serengeti then transfers to Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight on the rim of the crater at Kirurumu tented camp.
Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge: Full board.
DAY 7: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
Early morning descends into the crater for morning game drive. Enjoy lunch in the crater after spending enough time inside the crater, we make a short journey from the crater to Arusha.
